Funny Illegal Brands

Some creative illegal brands pictures, Kuma instead Puma, Hike instead Nike… LOL You can’t be serious… Hike? LMAO

The Digg comments on this one was too crazy. Why would someone saying “I love the tuna brand and Hike” get Dugg down 9 votes? Of course… that makes sense. But there are a few gems in the bunch that are informative. You get the redirect link just incase the site crashed and some pictures courtesy or Flickr.

Just plain interesting.

God is for Suckers!

God is for Suckers! – Commentary, news, and rants on the evils and stupidity of belief in the big invisible daddy in the sky. Illuminating and watchdogging the widespread attempts to institutionalize the theocratic rule of the US. Making fun of believers everywhere.

Ummmm…. you guys might wanna take a look at this. It must be the LONGEST title description I have sen at the top of my browser.

I think I’ll pray for this blogger. Ohhh the irony LOL

LMAO

Is this for real? A Netscape featured pick. What is interesting about this is that CNN did the story.

Op-Ed: Could a fat girl win American Idol?

The New Netscape (some call it a Digg clone) has featured a link to TV Squad that is talking about the American Idol show.

Personally, if they can vote in a guy who the music industry would consider super old, then why not a ‘fat girl’?

Here is what people at Netscape thought about that.

Martian Anthropologist

Martian Anthropologist

This blog is definailty a contender for  Featured Blog. With blog posts like Sex and the Sexagenarian, Holy Womb? Sacred Sperm? and Name Your Poison  you have to keep coming back.

Name your poison, by the way, is about whether or not you would want to live in tyranny (like having some overlord ruling over you) or live in chaos (where no one rules anything and mob rule seems to be the order of the day).

As a single (yeah ladies, I’m single… ) guy I would have to say chaos. Living in tryanny is like being in a cage. What’s the point of that? No if I had a family with kids, then I would want my kids to have a chance and chaos doesn’t really work when your trying to provide for your kids.

Well, with stuff like that on the blog, its no wonder that many posts get around 5 comments. PLUS on BlogExplosion (a place where you can promote your blog for free) the site has like 36 comments (which is pretty high for BlogExplosion).

The blog is run by a number of people so getting different views on something is definailty something you expect.

Engadget’s Mosts Commented in 7 Days

Engadget is a very popular consumer tech site. Its actually gone beyond being a blog (or a very popular blog) in moved itself into being a web e-zine. Millions of readers and plenty of interaction. Forget about learning a thing or 2 from the authors of the blog; that’s a given.

Try reading the comments that go with the blog posts.

Here is what’s popular in comments on Engadget:

While the iPhone takes the cake, I think the biggest story here in the comment world is how the woman died participating in a contest to win a Wii.

With all the hysteria and violence surrounding the PlayStation 3 launch, we were almost positive that it would be the pursuit of Sony’s hard-to-find console which would lead to the tragic death of a hopeful gamer. But even though there were numerous scuffles and injuries in the race to secure a PS3, the first and only casualty in the next-gen wars turned out to be a woman trying to win a Wii for her children — and she lost her life in much more bizarre circumstances than the retail madness we witnessed in late November. 28-year-old Jennifer Strange of Rancho Cardova, CA was found dead inside her home on Friday afternoon after competing in a radio station-sponsored competition which pitted hopefuls against one another for the prize of Nintendo’s latest and greatest.

WOW…

The Wii Laptop!

Digg has posted what is called by Engadget the “Wii Laptop”. The people t Engadget spent a few weeks ocreating this and Digg decided the results was worth 2505 votes.

Apparently many people didn’t like the first comment of which basically said that its not as impressive as the XBOX laptop but still is a nice piece of work…. but seemingly the Digg communitty didn’t like that comment too well. 16 votes for that while the reply comment gets around 91 votes for basically saying the XBOX laptop would be better off marketed as an oven considering its size (not in thos words folks, but you get the picture right?)

The first dig-down (-25) goes to BarryChuckle for basically saying it doesn’t look to good… yes sir… I’m telling you there is just drama on the Digg comments. this is just the tip of the iceberg LOL

Visit the link to see what I’m talking about.

It’s the Wii laptop! We spent the last few weeks (including much time spent over the holidays evading relatives) slaving over this bad boy and finally it’s complete.

Chad Gramling’s Baseball Blog (CGBB)

Chad Gramling’s Baseball Blog (CGBB)

Now this is a pretty cool blog. I got that from reading the first post. This guy let me on to another blog that happens to be owned by a baseball Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers.

Now, I don’t know who that is, but here is his blog: rolliefingerssportsblog.com

Anyway, back to Chad’s blog; it designed well, and it has plenty of cool stuff on it. Especially if your into baseball. If you are not, well, then you still probably will like it anyway.

Not allot of people commenting on the blog though… maybe that will change one day. If you go, tell him Social Orb sent ya.
